GearboxCustomers are spoilt for choice between the two variants of gearboxes with the manual or Honda’s new and improved Auto DCT box which is silky smooth and all you really hear is an audible note from the motor when gear change is commenced.
Suspension
A winner in the suspension with the choice of standard or Honda’s Electronic suspension damping front and rear with a flick of the switch you can select different modes and the suspension will adjust automatically.
MotorHonda tweaked the motor and increased the engine capacity giving it more punch and a bigger engine. Honda’s “Throttle by Wire” (TBW) gives you more control not forgetting the Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) that controls the rear from drifting out during slippery conditions which is further assisted by the new swingarm rooted from the CRF450R, in addition the “side axis inertial measurement unit” (IMU) ensures that you move in the desired upright direction.
StylingTailored for control and comfort the riding position features a slimmer section seat which is set 50mm lower than the previous model coupled to new LED headlights shining the way ahead with four riding modes for any condition Tour, Urban, Gravel and Off-road with the Adventure Sports offering two additional user modes which can be customised to preference.
