Honda CR-V gets a Five Star ENCAP Rating! For those that don’t know – Euro NCAP has created the five-star safety rating system to help consumers, their families and businesses compare vehicles more easily and to help them identify the safest choice for their needs. The safety rating is determined from a series of vehicle tests, designed and carried out by Euro NCAP.
CMH Honda The Glen is proud to announce that Honda CR-V ENCAP Rating was a success as the CR-V joins the Jazz, HR-V and Civic in Honda’s range of cars that got a five star Euro NCAP rating.! The SUV achieved 93% in adult occupant safety and 83% in child occupant safety, while the safety assist score stands at 76% and the vulnerable road users rating is 70%.

According to the Euro NCAP report, “The passenger compartment of the CR-V remained stable in the frontal offset test. Dummy readings indicated good protection of the knees and femurs of the driver and passenger.” In addition, the protection of the passenger dummy was “good for all critical body areas.” The report went on to say that in the full-width rigid barrier test, protection of the driver and rear passenger was “good or adequate for all critical body areas.”
