Riders and customers fill the pits from 07h00 until 09h00. At 09h15 all riders attend a riders briefing to fill them in on information regarding the rules and processes.
Riders are divided into four groups A,B,C and D. Group A riders are normally the open race class and usually consists of full spec race bikes with highly experienced riders. For these riders there is a classroom session first thing after riders briefing. During this session riders are briefed about safety, corner speed, riding styles and also the track itself.
Riders in classes B, C, and D gets instruction from allocated instructors wearing bright yellow bibs. These instructors ensure safety on the track and also control the speed during such a session. They observe riders mistakes and train on and off the track. Ground marshals are placed at all corners with flags and two way radio’s to monitor and control safety. There is also a fully equipped clinic with two medics and one ambulance on duty to assist should a rider be in need of medical assistance. Safety is the one extremely high priority and riders are disciplined without hesitation should rules not be obeyed. It is emphasized clearly that this day is not a race day and the use of any timing devises are strictly prohibited.
